The current events happening all over the UK in have left the Muslim community and other minority communities feeling overwhelmed with fear, injustice and uncertainty. And if we, as adults feel that way, imagine the emotions of our children.
Many children will have overheard their adults discussing the riots and Islamophobia, or horrendous attacks on innocent members of people of colour. These children, will most certainly have anxieties around the situation and worry about how the riots may affect them and their families. Muslim children in particular are questioning why there is so much hate towards Muslims.
